Light Weapons[edit | edit source]
Starpoint Gemini 2 How To Make Money Glitch
Full list : Light Weapons
Light weapons have infinite ammo, but require energy to fire. There are over 150 different light weapons in the game which are categorized as Lasers (Beams), Railguns and Plasma. Lasers are great at destroying enemy shields, Railguns at chewing through the hull and Plasma is the golden middle between the first two categories. Technically, each ship, even the smallest one, can have the most expensive weapons installed. However, smaller ships don't have the necessary amount of energy to make such weapons effective, so be careful with what you buy and for what you buy.
Heavy Weapons[edit | edit source]
Full list : Heavy Weapons
Heavy weapons have limited ammo, so make sure to spend them wisely during the longer battles. They are powerful at destroying the hull, but their firepower might be wasted on shields. Be careful about your ship's alignment and of course, about enemies alignment too. Their front shields might be down, but if you try to attack from the right side, your heavy weapons will have minimal effect.
Primary Components[edit | edit source]

Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the file before proceeding. Start a game, dock at a space station, and buy some cheap commodities (for example, iron). Undock, save the game, and quit. Locate the file in the game's folder with the 'BuyValue' line. Edit the 'BuyValue' line to a desired price, then save the file. Start the game, and load the previous saved game file. Dock at a space station, and sell the commodities that were bought earlier. The sales price will be at your edited price, allowing you to make a large amount of money in one transaction.
